Postal Vote
PVAs (Postal Vote applications) will be accepted until Wednesday 18 August 2010. The application must be made on a “Application for a Postal Vote”. Completed forms shoud be faxed to the Embassy on 5411 4779-3581.
Once you have received your ballot papers from the Embassy you will need to get them back before 20 August 4:00 pm.
Alternatively, postal voters may return their materials to the Divisional Returning Officer for their Division in Australia, who can receive postal votes up to thirteen days after the election, as long as they are postmarked no later than 6pm on Election Saturday (which effectively means 20 August if mailing from Argentina, Paraguay or Uruguay).
Envelopes and instructions will be included with the ballot papers.
